Tutti a Tavola - Everybody to the Table!

The Tuscan Mammas invite you to join in to discover the flavour of life in Tuscany, Italy. The kitchen in Tuscany is called "casa", the centre of the house and family, where the fireplace was always lit and everybody would share not only meals but social life. We would like to invite you to cook with us, not only Tuscan food but the sum of years of traditional family cooking.

We will adapt the classes to your level of expertise and fit with your individual wishes whenever possible.

Wine and olive oil tastings together with a guided visit to a lively market and a dinner at Le Vigne, a charming "chiantigiano" restaurant, will complete your culinary adventure. One of the Mammas (at least) will join the group at Le Vigne to introduce participants to their typical Tuscan food. Everybody will have a chance to ask questions and get another "insider" view of life in Tuscany.

The culinary program is held every week from April to October and is over four days. It includes a wine tasting followed by refreshments, an olive oil tasting followed by a light lunch, dinner at Le Vigne restaurant in Radda in Chianti, a guided visit to a lively local market as well as two hands-on cooking sessions followed by dinner.

Participants are welcome to stay in the accommodation offered by the Mammas who will adopt you and make your life in Chianti an easy, friendly time. Please note: Accommodation is not included in the price of the culinary program.

Situated in the Chianti Classico wine region between Florence, renowned for its art and history, and the beautiful city of Siena with its rose-coloured medieval buildings, this is a great base to explore the rest of Tuscany. From the many small hilltop villages and medieval walled towns like Radda in Chianti and San Gimignano to castles, vineyards, and fabulous local markets, you will discover a different Tuscany, the one known only to the locals.
