About the author:
Jacqueline Hagan was introduced to herring at an early age, growing up with a dad who loved to fish, and spending happy holidays with family and friends at their beach shack in Mandurah.
When she married a fishing enthusiast, they travelled the world for several years, returning to WA with their two sons, and handing down the pursuit of herring to the next generation.
Jacqueline now lives in Fremantle with the fisherman, spending each summer on their boat at Garden Island, and in winter travelling to Europe and South America in search of new and exciting recipes for the next summer’s herring catch
Hooked on Herring by Jacqueline Hagan is published by Margaret River Press (WA, Nov 2016; 140pp; RRP A$34.00). It is available at some fishing stores and direct from the publisher here »
