Following a successful appearance on MasterChef Australia, the d’Arenberg Cube Restaurant has announced the launch of the Chef’s Table, an exclusive dining opportunity with views into the dynamic, state of the art kitchen, where contestants recently competed in a Pressure Test Challenge.

The Chef’s Table includes access to a private lounge for a pre-lunch aperitif and canapes, an extended degustation menu, and a dedicated sommelier to guide diners through the wine pairing.

“Unlike MasterChef, we don’t expect guests to compete against each other and cook their own meals” joked Head Chef, Brendan Wessels. “But they will get to taste some of our experimental dishes, and enjoy a front row seat watching their meals be prepared.”

The Chef’s Table is available as a private experience for small groups of two to six, or as a communal experience shared between smaller bookings.

About the Cube
The d’Arenberg Cube Restaurant is located in McLaren Vale, South Australia. The restaurant offers a seasonally changing degustation menu, with an extensive list featuring a selection of imported wines, and both current vintage and museum releases from d’Arenberg.

After many years training in a Michelin starred kitchen, travelling and learning about global gastronomy, South African husband-and-wife team Brendan Wessels and Lindsay Dürr have worked together to create a unique dining adventure.

Serving exceptional dishes that engage the imagination of guests, each aspect of the restaurant has been designed to create an environment that stimulates the senses, with a playful element. There are dining chairs that explode with colour, tables crafted from old oak barrels, and eclectic pieces of art.

Open for lunch from Thursday to Sunday, the degustation menu is $190. Wine pairings start at $75 per person. A menu price increase applies on Sundays, for a cost of $210 per person. Bookings can be make online, email wine@darenberg.com.au, or call +61 8 8329 4888.
