d'Arenberg is one of the most significant wineries in McLaren Vale, South Australia.
d'Arenberg is situated in the hills four kilometres north of the township of McLaren Vale on the Fleurieu Peninsula, on an undulating triangle bordered by the Gulf St Vincent, eight kilometres to the west, and by the southern Mount Lofty Ranges, fifteen kilometres to the east, and is just 40 kilometres south of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia.
With breathtaking views overlooking the rolling hills of McLaren Vale, d'Arry's Verandah Restaurant is the idyllic place for an unforgettable dining experience. Head Chef Peter Reschke draws inspiration from local and seasonal produce to complement the award winning d'Arenberg wines, and a selection of international treats. The extensive range of d'Arenberg wines is available for tasting at cellar door.
The d'Arenberg cellar door is housed in the restored 19th century homestead, with views over McLaren Vale, the Willunga Hills and the Gulf St Vincent. Taste the wine, talk with their knowledgeable staff and hear about a racehorse named Footbolt, money spiders, dead arms, laughing magpies, lucky lizards and more.
