White Kangaroo Rivulet at Wobbly Boot Vineyard

In Tasmania’s Coal River Valley, on an unusually shaped parcel of land which prompted its name, lies Wobbly Boot Vineyard. Owned and operated by the Williams family, this boutique vineyard has been building a reputation not just for its sauvignon blanc and pinot noir, but also for interesting behind-the-scenes wine and vineyard experiences for visitors.

The vineyard is open by appointment only so that each visitor can relax and enjoy their customised tasting, but you can also choose a vineyard adventure with new three tours now on offer.

This focus on giving visitors the opportunity for more than just a cellar door tasting, making it a personalised and engaging experience, has been an important point of difference for Wobbly Boot and helped them gain a strong following.

There are three to choose from:

Vine to Glass

Stroll through the vineyard and chat with the owner about life amongst the vines then enjoy a tutored wine tasting with matched canapés.

Wine with Chocolate

Two of many people’s favourite things! Have fun matching chocolate with Wobbly Boot’s boutique wines.

Vigneron for a Day

Get right behind the label and into the bottle with this is a rare chance to become fully immersed in a range of hands-on vineyard activities, tailored to your particular interests.

You might just be curious about what it’s like to own a vineyard and to have a fun day on the tools amongst the vines then enjoy a lunch and wine-tasting. Or you might be seriously thinking about establishing your own vineyard and keen to get a broad range of experience including the all important business side of things. Whatever piques your interest is how your day will unfold.

Or of course, you can just book in for a cellar door tasting and enjoy the wine, the friendly welcome and the peaceful surrounds of White Kangaroo Rivulet.
