The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is the largest celebration of its kind anywhere in the world.
From the 8th to the 24th March, Melbourne and Victoria will burst with hundreds of flavorsome food and wine events.
The 2019 program highlights include:
Anarchy at Attica
It's a coup d'état at Attica with the staff snatching the reins away from their fearless leader, Ben Shewry.
Be a part of the mutiny as the staff at Attica unite to feed Ben and everyone else dining that night, creating an eight-course menu and matched drinks that together showcase the team's shared histories, cultures and what they have learnt during their time at Attica.
The Art of Japanese Breakfast
Traditional Japanese breakfast is both nourishing and beautiful. Designed to encourage a moment of reflection, it consists of many small homely dishes made with seasonal ingredients. It is served on beautifully designed dishes to enhance the enjoyment of an otherwise simple experience.
Guests will observe each element of the meal coming together and explore objects of classic Japanese design.
Super Garden Party
The leafy greenery of The Elms at Flemington Racecourse will be bursting with a lively and playful party, as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival on the biggest day of group 1 racing this Autumn. Indulge in dishes from some of Melbourne’s hottest restaurants, including Atlas Dining and Cheek, sip on locally brewed craft beers at the Hop Harvest Bar, boutique Victorian wines at the Grapevine Bar and botanical-inspired cocktails in the Cocktail Quarter.
