Pfeiffer WInes photographic exhibition 2013

Pfeiffer Wines is currently abuzz with all things photography as they are gear up to host their first Photographic Exhibition at their historic cellar door this July.

The exhibition will celebrate the works of some of the “pfinest” photographers that the region has to offer, from amateurs to professionals and everyone in between. With over 85 original photographs already submitted and featuring a vast range of styles and subjects, the exhibition is sure to have something for everyone.

Over the last few years Pfeiffer Wines has noticed a growing trend towards photography when they have hosted their annual Pfeiffer Wines Art Show which takes place between the end of December and the end of January each year.

The show is open to any genre but it is photography that is largely taking up the art show entries. And it is not just the artists that are showing this movement towards the photographic genre but it is the people visiting the show that are also exhibiting an increasing interest in photography. With this in mind the winery decided to host an exhibition focussing solely on photography.

What’s more, this trend towards artistic photography was evident at Pfeiffer Wines over the Winery Walkabout weekend this year with more photos entered and greater artistic flair taken in the social media competitions than ever before.

The Pfeiffer Wines Photographic Exhibition will take place from Monday 1st July 2013 to Wednesday 31st July 2013 during cellar door hours (Monday to Saturday 9am – 5pm and Sundays 10am – 5pm).

The exhibition is open to the general public, entry is free and all works will be available for sale.

Whilst at the winery, visitors are encouraged to participate in the People’s Choice Award by voting for their “pfavourite” piece.
