2017 was a long cool growing season producing outstanding late maturing red varieties. Grapes ripened very evenly with good tannin development at sensible alcohols.


Tasting Note

Vibrant reds with purple edges. Spicy alluring nose of red and dark fruits, dry herb and graphite. Supple, rich, blueberry fruits, earth and forest, lots of spices, textural.


Additional Information

Vegan, Vegetarian



A mixture of whole bunches and whole berries with some early foot stomping to create some juice to start the fermentation. A combination of foot plunging and turnovers during fermentation. Pressed and racked to 500 litre casks for 6 months.

Alc/Vol: 14.0% pH: 3.58 TA: 6.1g/L



Drink now or keep for 3-4 years in a good cellar.
