Synonomous with gastronomy, the stunning Gascoyne region is situated approximately 900km north of Perth in Western Australia. A horticultural and pastoral region abundant with tropical fruits, succulent seafood and a vast array of temperate climate fruit and vegetables, it is where art meets science in the world of good eating.

The Gascoyne Food Festival is all about experiencing gastronomic pleasures in this outback oasis at the edge of the world. With the region being abundant with tropical fruits, succulent seafood and a vast array of temperate climate fruit and vegetables, this event showcases these fresh amazing foods in Carnarvon on the banks of Western Australia's longest river.

The main event is the Long Table Lunch where celebrities cook up culinary tapas delights for the 130 plus guests on the banks of the river. Chef’s for 2018 are yet to be announced but in previous years they have included local favourites WA Food Ambassador Don Hancey and his team from Panorama Catering, renowned WA chef’s Peter Manifis and Greg Farnan, together with 8 of Perth’s top chef’s from first-rate dining favourites The Flour Factory, Kent Street Deli, Manuka Woodfire Kitchen, Petition and more.

The Gascoyne Growers Markets follows on the Saturday with live cooking demonstrations, fresh produce for sale and free entertainment.
